Counseling FAQs
-
Yes. Telehealth options are available for eligible clients, in addition to in-person counseling. Your therapist can help determine which format is appropriate for your needs.
-
We work with select insurance plans and also offer private-pay options. Contact us to determine whether your insurance plan is accepted and to discuss available payment options.
-
You don't have to figure that out on your own. We'll learn about your needs, preferences, goals, and the type of support you're looking for and help identify a therapist who may be a good fit.
Finding the right therapeutic relationship matters, and we're happy to help with that process.
-
Absolutely.
The therapeutic relationship is important, and finding the right fit matters. If you don't feel that your therapist is the right match, let us know. We'll work with you to explore other options when available.
-
Yes. Our counseling services include children, adolescents, and young adults, depending on clinician specialty, experience, and availability.

-
Yes. We offer couples and family counseling with clinicians whose training and experience align with these services.
-
That's completely okay.
You don't need to know what to say or understand how therapy works before your first appointment. Your first session is an opportunity to talk about what's bringing you in, get to know your therapist, and begin identifying what you'd like to work on.
-
There is no standard number of sessions that works for everyone. The length of therapy depends on your goals, circumstances, needs, and progress.
Some people benefit from short-term, focused support, while others choose longer-term therapy.
Your therapist will work with you to regularly evaluate your goals and determine what makes sense for you.
-
Your first appointment is primarily about getting to know one another and understanding what brings you to therapy.
Your therapist may ask about your current concerns, history, relationships, goals, and what you'd like to be different. You'll also have an opportunity to ask questions and determine whether the therapist feels like a good fit.
-
No. You do not need to have a mental health diagnosis to benefit from counseling.
People seek therapy for many reasons, including personal growth, relationship concerns, stress, life transitions, burnout, grief, and navigating difficult experiences.
-
Appointment availability varies by clinician. Contact us to discuss current scheduling options.
